(QNgTV)- The draft Law on Construction (amended) stipulates the expansion of the subjects exempted from construction permits. Small constructions and individual houses in areas without detailed planning will be implemented online through a simpler one-stop shop, although permits are still required.

According to the Ministry of Construction , the draft Law on Construction (amended) only regulates the framework issues of principles and contents under the authority of the National Assembly. Therefore, the draft has been restructured into 8 chapters with 97 articles, focusing on 4 major policy groups. In particular, focusing on innovating management methods, changing the way of classifying projects from capital sources to investment forms to overcome current shortcomings in determining capital sources.

Notably, the draft also stipulates the removal and shortening of unnecessary procedures. Specifically, the investor has the flexibility to choose a design plan suitable to the nature and complexity of the project, without having to follow a rigid template, in order to shorten the project preparation time.
