Students in 19 provinces and cities affected by storms and floods will have their tuition fees reduced, including: Ha Tinh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Ninh Binh, Hue, Son La, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Hai Phong, Hung Yen, and Da Nang.
In addition, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics grants 100 scholarships, including 70 scholarships worth more than 14 million VND/scholarship for full-time students and 30 scholarships worth 12 million VND/scholarship for students of the remaining programs. Conditions for receiving scholarships include: Students in difficult circumstances due to the impact of storms and floods; have not received scholarships of equivalent value or natural disaster support scholarships from the school; have not been disciplined at the level of reprimand or higher in the semester of scholarship consideration.
The school also extended the tuition payment deadline for all students with permanent residence in the above 19 provinces and cities, the tuition payment deadline for 2026 is extended to January 15, 2026.
