JJ Gabriel is expected by coaches and MU staff to become the youngest player to play in the team's history, even in the Premier League.

Gabriel was signed by MU at the same time as Ronaldo's son in 2021.

Goalkeeper David Gaskell holds the record for making his debut for United in 1956 at the age of 16 years and 19 days. But with his rapid development, Gabriel could easily break this record and even make his first-team debut next season, especially in cup competitions.

Gabriel is only 14 and won't turn 15 until October, but has been a standout performer at U18 level. In a 13-1 win over Leeds United U18s, Gabriel scored twice in just 25 minutes. The youngster also scored in a 4-0 win over Stoke City U18s.

According to the British media, experts have been constantly spreading the word about the young player's outstanding skills and confidence. Not only attracting attention in the MU shirt, Gabriel is also a pillar of the England U15 team and has just signed an exclusive shoe contract with Nike. The move shows recognition from major sponsors.

Coach Ruben Amorim is willing to put his faith in young players. This season, he has given opportunities to Chido Obi (17 years old), Ayden Heaven (18 years old) and Harry Amass (18 years old).

If Gabriel makes it to the Premier League next season, he could break the record for youngest player to ever play in the competition, currently held by Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri (15 years and 181 days).

From an academy boy, Gabriel is on the threshold of history and coach Amorim is ready to create the conditions for MU's gem to shine at the highest level.
