MU's dream of selling Hojlund is broken

Inter Milan are considering abandoning the deal for Manchester United's Rasmus Hojlund in favour of another target.

Hojlund could stay at MU this summer.

According to SportMediaset , Inter had discussions with MU about Hojlund a few weeks ago. The Serie A club wanted to loan the Danish striker with an option to buy at the end of next season, but the "Red Devils" prioritized selling Hojlund this summer. The Old Trafford team valued the 22-year-old at 45 million euros.

For this reason, Inter are considering a move for Como's Nico Paz. The Spanish midfielder joined Como for €6 million last summer from Real Madrid. "Los Blancos" have a €9 million buy-back clause, which expires on June 30. It is not yet clear whether Real Madrid intend to activate this clause.

Nico Paz's form is better than Hojlund's in 2024/25, despite their different positions. Hojlund is a centre-forward, while Nico Paz is an attacking midfielder.

Last season, Hojlund scored only 4 goals in the Premier League. He struggled with his limited skill set when playing in England. From ball control, coordination, movement to finishing, Hojlund was not outstanding.

Hojlund's performance has frustrated MU fans. Some fans believe that the "Red Devils" should sell Hojlund to welcome a more suitable striker.

In addition to Inter, Juventus and Napoli are also interested in the former Atalanta star. However, no club has made an official offer yet.
