The 2025 high school graduation exam is considered a special exam because it takes place in the context of the whole country bustling into the peak of merger, Quang Nam province is about to "share the same house" with Da Nang city.
This is also an exam for candidates studying two programs: the first time for students studying the 2018 GeneralEducation Program and the 2006 General Education Program. Quang Nam has more than 18,000 candidates participating in the exam (more than 1,000 candidates more than last year), of which more than 500 candidates are taking the exam under the 2006 General Education Program.
The national exam should have great pressure, from the organization of the exam to the printing of exam papers, transportation of exam papers, issues related to security and safety of the exam, etc., especially during the time of preparing to merge provinces, dissolve the district level and no longer have district-level police.
For Quang Nam , the pressure was even heavier because the scale of the exam was one of the largest in the country, the area was large, many mountainous areas with 62 exam locations located in 17 districts, towns, and cities, the organization of the exam required strictness, following the procedures and regulations. But after the exam ended, the pressure was relieved.
Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Viet Tuong, Chairman of the Provincial Examination Council, said that thanks to careful preparation and high responsibility, Quang Nam successfully, safely and seriously organized the 2025 High School Graduation Exam in accordance with the direction of the Ministry of Education and Training.
The examination sites are all organized strictly, in accordance with regulations, and the facilities serving the examination meet the requirements. The examination is conducted seriously according to regulations but gently, creating the most comfortable psychological state for candidates to do the test.
More than 3,600 officials and teachers who were leaders of examination sites, invigilators, supervisors and 1,000 people from many forces such as police, medical staff, orderlies and security guards worked seriously, in accordance with professional regulations, enhanced their responsibility, and contributed to ensuring the exam took place safely and effectively.
“Despite the difficulties, this year the functional sectors, especially the police sector and local authorities at the district level, have closely coordinated and responsibly, contributing to the safety and seriousness of the exam. The percentage of candidates taking the exam in the province this year is quite high at over 99.5%, the majority of absentees are independent candidates.
The whole province had no cases of officials and teachers on duty violating regulations; security and safety for the exam were ensured, and no incidents related to the organization of the exam occurred. Unfortunately, there was a candidate who violated regulations in the Literature exam and was suspended from the exam because he brought a phone into the exam room," Mr. Tuong shared.
Mr. Tuong said that after the exam ended, all exam papers at the exam sites in the province were transferred to the exam marking site of Quang Nam province for storage. Due to the province's merger from July 1, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City will be responsible for organizing the exam marking.
According to the examination regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, after marking, the Departments of Education and Training will announce the examination results at 8:00 a.m. on July 16 and then consider recognizing high school graduation no later than July 18. Candidates who need to have their examination papers reviewed must submit a review application to the Department of Education and Training through the examination unit from July 16 to July 25.
