
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, there is currently a low pressure area operating off the coast of the Philippines.
It is forecasted that around October 16 to 17, this low pressure area is likely to form a low pressure area, which may later strengthen into a storm and move into the northeastern region of the East Sea.
Regarding the early cold air of the season (northeast monsoon), from around the night of October 18, the North will begin to be affected by cold air, which will then be strengthened on October 20 and 21, causing cold weather at night and in the morning, and mountainous areas may become cold.
Due to the influence of strengthening cold air, the provinces of Ha Tinh - Quang Ngai are likely to experience moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms in some places from October 19 to 22.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that from now until November 10, there is a possibility of 2-3 storms and tropical depressions appearing in the East Sea, and 1-2 storms are likely to affect Vietnam's mainland.
Since the beginning of the year, there have been 11 storms and 4 tropical depressions in the East Sea. Of these, 6 storms have directly and indirectly affected our country.
