The Law on Organization of Local Government, passed by the National Assembly on June 16, 2025, has many important innovations. Specifically, it promotes decentralization, delegation of power, and authorization, creating flexible mechanisms for local governments to be more proactive and creative in performing their functions and tasks; clarifying the position, role, and responsibilities between the People's Council and the People's Committee, and between local governments at all levels; perfecting the model of a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective, and efficient State apparatus, contributing to building a more professional, serving, modern, and people-friendly administration.
