Supplementing nearly 113,500 billion VND to pay benefits for officials, civil servants and public employees who have quit their jobs

QNgTV- According to the Ministry of Finance, the total central budget source to implement policies on payment of benefits and policies for officials, civil servants and public employees who quit their jobs according to Decree No. 178 and 67 this year is about 125,000 billion VND.

The budget ensures adequate funding for those who retire according to the regime. To date, the central budget has supplemented more than 113,482 billion VND in funding for policies and regimes for officials, civil servants, and public employees who retire according to regulations.

Of which, the expenditure for 31 ministries and central agencies is nearly 71,477 billion VND, and for 23 localities after the arrangement is more than 42,000 billion VND.

The Ministry of Finance said that it had previously proactively reported to the Government to submit to the National Assembly for approval of Resolution No. 196 to supplement VND 44,000 billion in the central budget estimate for 2025 to pay for the regime.

In case the funding demand exceeds the limit, the National Assembly allows the Government to use the accumulated salary reform fund of the central budget for implementation.
