Accordingly, from now until the evening of July 10, moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms will continue to fall in the mountainous and midland areas of the North, locally very heavy rain with common rainfall of 20-40mm, in some places over 80mm.
From the night of July 10 to the night of July 11, heavy rain will expand in the North and Thanh Hoa with moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain, rainfall ranging from 40-90mm, some places over 200mm. There is a risk of heavy rain with rainfall over 150mm in 3 hours.
The above weather pattern will continue in the North and Thanh Hoa during the day and night of July 12. Rainfall will decrease compared to the previous 24 hours, commonly 30-60mm, in some places over 100mm.

From the night of July 11 to July 19, the weather across the country has many fluctuations, heavy rain in the North gradually decreases, and widespread heat returns to the Central region.
According to forecasts, after a period of continuous heavy rain for about 4 days, from July 13, heavy rain in the North and Thanh Hoa will gradually decrease, however, scattered showers and thunderstorms will still occur in mountainous areas, with localized heavy rain.
During the forecast period, Nghe An to Hue and the South Central Coast will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. In particular, from the night of July 11-12, Nghe An and Ha Tinh will have showers and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing heavy to very heavy rain. From around July 15, the provinces and cities of Nghe An to Da Nang and the eastern provinces from Quang Ngai to Dak Lak are likely to experience widespread heat waves.
During the next 10 days, the Central Highlands and the South will maintain the typical weather pattern of this season with scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain.
During thunderstorms, beware of extreme weather events such as tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong winds.
