Heavy rain lasting from dawn to noon caused localized flooding in Bac Kan ward and Duc Xuan ward.
The heavily flooded roads are Doi Ky, Kon Tum , Bac Kan square area, National Highway 3 through Bac Kan ward... The rising water of Cau river brings with it a lot of mud, soil, trees, and garbage.
Some areas were heavily flooded, water flooded into people's houses, causing damage. Doi Ky stream water rose, overflowed the banks causing flooding of people's houses and Song Cau Primary School.

National Highway 3B from Bac Kan ward to Cho Don commune suffered a landslide that caused soil and rocks to flow down, burying the road surface, causing traffic congestion through Bach Thong commune. Bo Lech spillway bridge in Hiep Luc commune was flooded, posing a danger to road users.
In many communes and wards in the northern region, there are landslides or signs of landslides in areas near residential areas. At campus 2, Duc Xuan Primary School, there was a landslide on the slope behind the principal's building. The slope area behind residential group 4, Duc Xuan ward also had a landslide.

Local authorities in northern communes are proactively implementing the 4 on-site motto; urgently reviewing and inspecting landslide locations and landslide risks to develop plans to relocate residents.

Currently, in Thai Nguyen , the risk of landslides and flash floods is at a high level.
