Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that the 2026 Tet Binh Ngo transportation period will last from February 3 to March 8, 2026 (ie from December 16, At Ty year to January 20, Binh Ngo year). During this time, passengers buying train tickets will continue to enjoy many preferential policies on prices.

Specifically, passengers who buy tickets 10 days or more in advance for a distance of over 900 km will receive a 5-15% discount on ticket prices. For trains departing from Saigon station on February 15, 2026 (ie December 28), passengers traveling from 1,000 km or more will receive an additional 3% discount on ticket prices.

For customers buying group tickets of 11 or more, the discount is from 2 to 12%. If buying round-trip tickets, passengers will receive an additional 5% discount on the return ticket price. Students of universities, academies, colleges, professional and vocational high schools will receive a higher discount, from 10 to 20%.

During this Tet peak season, the railway industry plans to operate 55 trains, providing about 330,000 tickets for passengers on long routes.
