What are the salary levels in the logistics industry?
Logistics is a part of the supply chain that involves storing and transporting goods and services from the point of origin to the point of consumption.
Currently working in human resources at an import-export company in Hanoi , Ms. Nguyen Phuong Chi (37 years old) said that personnel in the logistics industry are divided into many levels and have a better income than the average.
For recent graduates with no experience, the starting salary will range from 5 to 8 million VND per month. Graduates with a little more experience will receive a salary of 10 to 15 million VND per month.
In particular, from 2019 to mid-2022, the income of employees in the logistics industry was very high, but also subject to significant fluctuations. Some job positions, such as Sales positions, could earn up to 200 million VND per month.
However, this is just an average salary and can vary depending on many different factors such as skills, experience, work performance, and job position.
Besides attractive salaries, the logistics industry offers students many job opportunities. According to a 2022 forecast by the Vietnam Logistics Research and Development Institute, by 2030, Vietnam will need an additional 2.2 million workers in the logistics industry, 10% of whom will be highly skilled personnel with foreign language proficiency. Meanwhile, only about 2,500 graduates in this field enter the workforce each year.
