"I'm going to play in the United States, on the other side of the ocean," Muller said in a video posted on his personal channel. "I still have a passion for football, and that's why I decided to continue playing football no matter what. So I'm trying to make the most of this opportunity - even though I'm not in Europe and I'm not playing in the Champions League anymore."
It is still unclear which club the German striker could join. FC Cincinnati holds early negotiating rights for the former Bayern star, but the player prefers a move to more prestigious clubs such as Inter Miami or LA FC.
Even LA Galaxy, the team that owns Marco Reus, is another bright option for Muller. The German striker also revealed that his new contract with the MLS team not only covers the 2025 season but also extends to the 2026 season, showing a long-term commitment to his new destination in the US.
