At Paris Fashion Week (France), Valentino introduced the Fall - Winter 2025 collection. This is Alessandro Michele's second Ready-to-Wear collection .
Alessandro Michele has nearly three decades of experience in the fashion industry, spending 10 years making his name at Gucci, including seven as creative director.
Appearing in the front row of the show were some prominent names in the Asian entertainment industry such as actor Shunsuke Michieda (Japan), actress Freen Sarocha Chankimha (Thailand), singer Jeff Satur (Thailand)...

Asian stars are sought after
Shunsuke Michieda is a popular Gen Z star (those born between 1997 and 2012) in Japan. He came to the show wearing a genderless suit, including a collared shirt with ruffled sleeves, a turn-down collar jacket and trousers. Michieda accessorized with lace gloves and a pearl necklace.

Freen Sarocha Chankimha impressed with her luxurious appearance. The actress wore a patterned shirt with a pencil skirt, lace stockings and pointed-toe high heels. She carried a Valentino crocodile leather bag in her hand.

Jeff Satur wore a shirt with ruffles at the collar and sleeves, a pullover with a cat face, and wide-leg pants and houndstooth shoes. The singer carried a cat accessory with a face similar to the pattern on the shirt.

The show has a "unique" setting.
Under the creative direction of Alessandro Michele, Valentino's fashion ideas continue to impress.
The recent Fall/Winter 2025 show was set in a giant public restroom, bathed in a bright red light. Michele describes the setting as Lynchian, referring to the acclaimed director David Lynch. Lynchian style is surreal, hazy, even bizarre.

This was Alessandro Michele's second ready-to-wear show for Valentino. After the first show, there were mixed opinions, saying that the former creative director of Gucci had not been able to redefine the brand.
Images of public toilets accompanied by the sound of flushing water were used as his response to those criticisms.
Michele’s recent Fall/Winter 2025 show explored the nature of intimacy, which is why he chose a private space like a bathroom as the setting.
During his time at Gucci, Alessandro Michele was one of the pioneers of genderless fashion. Now at Valentino, he may also be making a sharp statement against the wave of anti-transgender sentiment.

This collection is called "Le Méta-Théâtre des Intimités" (roughly translated: The Surreal Theatre of Intimacy). Through it, Michele wants to explore the boundary between public and private, and at the same time ask the question: does such a boundary really exist?
Alessandro Michele made this point clear by presenting even the most intimate moments as a form of performance. The models wore designs that mixed dresses, tops, lingerie, and sheer lace.

The designer not only tapped into fashion history in general, but also his own heritage. The diamond motif from his first Haute Couture collection was reinterpreted, along with familiar animal symbols, such as the cat face printed on an evening gown.

True to Alessandro Michele's personal aesthetic - maximalist details - were emphasized in the collection: From elaborately embellished sleeves, exaggerated peplum details (the ruffled fabric that flares out at the waist on the outfit) to accessories such as wide-brimmed hats and clutches.

When it comes to special occasion dresses, it's hard to beat Alessandro Michele.
He introduced a dress made of Georgette (a knitted silk fabric favored in high fashion) and lace, blending bright and elegant tones, combined with crystals and bows. In addition, there was a black dress with a deep neckline and high slit, both minimalist and luxurious.

The founder of the Valentino Garavani brand was a gentleman. Until Garavani retired in 2008, the Valentino fashion house was associated with the image of luxury of the upper class but always maintained elegance.
Meanwhile, Alessandro Michele arrived at Valentino amid an anxious, chaotic, and social media-driven era. Either way, the recent Fall/Winter 2025 show was sure to leave viewers spellbound.
