According to the report, in 2024, the Quang Nam Civil Enforcement Department closely followed the work program and plan of the Ministry of Justice and the General Department of Civil Enforcement to implement many decisive solutions and successfully carry out the assigned tasks.

In the 2024 working year, the Quang Nam Civil Enforcement Department had to handle more than 14,700 cases, with a total amount exceeding 7,100 billion VND. Of these, more than 8,600 cases out of a total of 10,147 enforceable cases were successfully enforced (reaching nearly 85.4%), exceeding the General Department's target by 1.8% (83.55%). The amount of money enforced was 400 billion VND out of a total of 750 billion VND that were enforceable (reaching 53.2%), exceeding the General Department's target by 6.5% (46.65%).

Thanks to decisive measures, the recovery of assets seized or lost in criminal cases related to corruption, economic crimes , and enforcement concerning credit and banking has yielded encouraging results.

During the year, the Quang Nam Civil Enforcement Department completed the enforcement of 13 out of 25 enforceable cases, recovering nearly 1 billion VND related to criminal cases involving corruption and economic crimes. Regarding bank credit cases, 78 out of 281 enforceable cases were completed, recovering nearly 170 billion VND.

The Department has held numerous meetings to provide guidance on enforcement work, promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles arising in the enforcement of many important cases such as the Bach Dat An case, administrative cases, etc.

In addition, coordinating agencies such as the Provincial People's Procuracy, the Provincial Police, and related units actively provide support in enforcing compliance with legally effective judgments.

Speaking at the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh commended the achievements of the sector in 2024. He also urged the entire sector to thoroughly understand and strictly implement regulations, preventing any violations that could damage the sector's reputation.

"In the context of facing many pressures and difficulties from the general situation, the collective of officials and employees of the enforcement sector have made great efforts, handling many complex cases; and promptly advising the provincial leadership on directions to resolve a number of emerging issues."

"In the coming period, based on practical experience, we propose that the entire sector review judgments and cases, recommend adjustments, and consider some legal regulations if there are any shortcomings. Focus on doing a good job in enforcing judgments, helping Quang Nam avoid prolonged incidents and complex hotspots related to internal affairs and judgment enforcement..." - said Comrade Phan Thai Binh.
