Former Director of the Civil Enforcement Department of Da Nang City disciplined.

Mr. Tran Phuoc Thu, former Party Secretary and Director of the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department, along with several related officials, were disciplined with a reprimand.

On February 10th, the Da Nang City Party Committee's Inspection Commission announced that at its 33rd meeting, after reviewing the results of the investigation into suspected violations and the results of the disciplinary review and proposed disciplinary action against the Party Committee of the City's Civil Enforcement Department, the Commission found:

During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the City's Civil Judgment Enforcement Department and related Party members lacked responsibility in leadership and direction; they failed to inspect and supervise the implementation of working regulations, regulations on personnel work, and the leadership and direction of civil judgment enforcement work.

The violations committed by the Party Committee of the Civil Enforcement Department have caused negative public opinion, led to complaints, and affected the reputation of the Party organization, the locality, and the unit.

Considering the content, nature, extent, consequences, and causes of the violations; based on the Party's regulations, the City Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to impose disciplinary measures:

Reprimands were issued to the Party Committee of the City Enforcement Department for the 2020-2025 term and to Mr. Tran Phuoc Thu, former Party Secretary and Director; Mr. Ho Tan Thanh, Party Secretary and Director of the Hoa Vang District Enforcement Department, former Party Committee member of the City Enforcement Department, and Head of the Inspection, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution Department; Mr. Vo Quang, Party member and enforcement officer; and Mr. Tran Van Luc, Party member and enforcement officer of the City Enforcement Department.

At the meeting, the Da Nang City Party Committee's Inspection Committee also reviewed the results of the inspection into suspected violations by the Party Committee of the City People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term, and the results of the supervision of the Standing Committee of the Thanh Khe District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee.

After reviewing the matter, the Da Nang City Party Committee's Inspection Committee recommended that the Party Committee of the Da Nang City People's Committee and the Standing Committee of the Thanh Khe District Party Committee conduct a serious self-criticism and learn from their experiences in leadership, direction, and organization of land management, implementation of public investment projects, and declaration of assets and income; and promptly rectify the violations and shortcomings that have been pointed out.
