Over the course of more than 10 months since the competition was launched, the Organizing Committee received 3,508 entries from 125 media outlets nationwide. After careful classification according to the regulations, 659 entries qualified for preliminary judging. From there, the preliminary judging panel selected 91 entries for the final round, before the final judging panel decided to recommend 64 outstanding entries for awards.

These figures reflect the scale and strong appeal of the Dien Hong Award, and also reflect the serious investment of resources, intellect, responsibility, and dedication of media agencies to parliamentary issues. The quality of this year's entries is generally more consistent, reflecting quite comprehensively the legislative activities, oversight, and decision-making on important national issues; at the same time, vividly recreating the 80-year journey of the Vietnamese National Assembly – a journey closely linked to the nation's destiny.
