On December 17th, in Hanoi, the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), in collaboration with relevant units, organized the closing ceremony and awards presentation for the "Impressions of Vietnamese Tourism" video clip creation contest 2025. The event concluded over three months of the contest and offered a vibrant perspective on how Vietnamese tourism is being told through the language of technology, creativity, and community emotion. The contest aimed to inspire creativity within the community and build a vibrant archive of information about Vietnam's land, people, and tourism.

Following the launch period from August 13th to November 15th, the Organizing Committee received nearly 1,000 entries, including over 500 short video clips and more than 400 longer video clips. A highlight of this year's competition lies in the richness of its themes and approaches. The entries take viewers on a journey through majestic natural landscapes, ancient cultural heritage sites, interspersed with the simple rhythms of everyday life, from highland markets and village festivals to family meals and candid moments of local people's lives.

According to the judging panel, the quality of the entries in 2025 showed a clear improvement and consistency. Many videos were meticulously produced, from the initial concept and script to the selection of locations, filming techniques, sound, and music . In particular, the younger generation of creators continued to assert their pioneering role with modern visual thinking, a fast pace of editing, and the ability to grasp digital media trends.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan, Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Head of the Organizing Committee of the Competition, said that the competition had far exceeded initial expectations in terms of scale and reach. “What moved us most was the participation of so many ordinary people, those who love travel and their homeland. They are not professional filmmakers, but the videos they submitted were very authentic, vivid, and full of emotion,” Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan shared.
