During a meeting with Archbishop Joseph Nguyen Nang, President of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Vietnam and Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet informed him about the political , economic, and social situation of the country as well as the international community.
According to Mr. Quyet, in 2025, despite general difficulties, the country's situation will be stable, with a relatively high economic growth rate, projected at 8%; people's lives will continuously improve; and the country will be highly appreciated by international friends... This has created the foundation for the country to enter the new year 2026 with a new spirit and new impetus for sustainable development.

On the occasion of Christmas 2025 and the New Year, the Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department wished Archbishop Joseph Nguyen Nang and the Catholic community a peaceful and happy Christmas and New Year 2026.
Party Central Committee Secretary and Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Trinh Van Quyet, expressed his wish that Archbishop Joseph Nguyen Nang and the parishioners would continue to stand alongside the nation and contribute even more to the development of our country, enabling it to stand shoulder to shoulder with the world's leading powers.

"The strength of religious unity, along with the strength of national unity, will surely enable us to overcome challenges and achieve great accomplishments," Mr. Quyet affirmed.
Archbishop Joseph Nguyen Nang thanked the leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front for their attention, visit, and congratulations.

On the same day, the delegation visited and extended Christmas greetings to the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern region).
Speaking at the event, Trinh Van Quyet, Head of the Central Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, extended his best wishes to the pastors, religious leaders, and parishioners.


Mr. Quyet stated that Vietnam has never had the potential and position it has today. "These achievements stem from the strength of national unity, including the Evangelical Church of Vietnam and its parishioners who have continuously worked together to build them," Mr. Quyet emphasized.
Pastor Thai Phuoc Truong – President of the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (Southern Region) – expressed his joy at being visited by the delegation of Party, State, and Fatherland Front leaders. The pastor stated that in the coming time, he will work with religious leaders and parishioners to strengthen activities in supporting and participating in building a prosperous and strong homeland.
