Over the past period, the Party Committee, the Command of Coast Guard Region 3, and the Party committees and commanders at all levels have consistently and thoroughly understood the position and role of ideological management and military discipline, considering it an important part of ideological and cultural work, directly contributing to building political qualities, ethics, and lifestyles, maintaining stability and unity throughout the unit, and creating a foundation for successfully completing all assigned tasks.

In 2025, Party committees and organizations at all levels strengthened inspection and supervision; linking ideological management and discipline with building strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and outstanding" units. The work of understanding, forecasting, guiding, and resolving ideological issues was implemented rigorously and according to procedures; promptly addressing shortcomings, resolving difficulties, and effectively resolving emerging issues within the armed forces.

Agencies and units focus on closely integrating ideological work with organizational, personnel, and policy work; promoting political education and disseminating legal knowledge through various flexible and appropriate forms. The Command of Coast Guard Region 3 maintains strict adherence to the system of compiling and reporting on ideological and disciplinary situations monthly; proactively guiding the awareness of officers and soldiers before important political events and complex, sensitive issues.

Many effective models and practices, such as "Legal Bookcases," "Military Personnel Psychological and Legal Counseling Teams," "Learning One Law a Day," "Learning One of President Ho Chi Minh's Teachings a Day," and "Smoke-Free Youth Union Branches," continue to be promoted, yielding practical results.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Cao Xuan Quan requested that in the coming period, Party committees and commanders of agencies and units continue to strictly adhere to directives and resolutions from higher levels; proactively grasp and accurately predict the situation, especially in light of the complex impacts of the world , regional, cyberspace, and social life; and at the same time, strengthen political education, strictly manage discipline, and build strong units in terms of politics, ideology, organization, and personnel to meet the requirements of the mission in the new situation.
