Commander of Vietnam Coast Guard works with Coast Guard Region 3

In 2025, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command strictly maintained combat readiness; organized 285 ships and boats to operate nearly 240,000 safe nautical miles; inspected and punished more than 300 violating ships; arrested, investigated and handled 15 cases/19 ships; other aspects of work were deployed synchronously and effectively.

In Party and political work, the unit has coordinated with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of 6 provinces and cities to implement 14 programs "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen"; organized local working delegations to survey and grasp the situation of coastal seas and islands to achieve the set goals and requirements; launched the contest "I love my homeland's sea and islands" in 6 provinces and cities... creating a positive spread in the hearts of people in coastal localities.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Le Dinh Cuong praised the achievements of the Coast Guard Region 3 Command in recent times, and requested to continue to maintain discipline, maintain strict combat readiness regime and focus on building strong political will for officers and soldiers; proactively coordinate with forces and localities to grasp the situation at sea.

The Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard directed the Command of Coast Guard Region 3 to resolutely deploy solutions to prevent and eventually end the situation of fishing vessels violating illegal fishing; strengthen the fight against crimes at sea; effectively carry out Party work, political work and programs of mass mobilization, propaganda, dissemination and education of law in the stationed area.
