At 8:30 a.m. the same day, Ship 954 discovered and successfully rescued two crew members in the East Hon Thom area, 3 nautical miles from An Thoi. Officers and soldiers of the unit conducted health checks and first aid, then handed them over to Ship 467 to receive and bring the two crew members ashore; the health of the two crew members was stable.

Medical staff of Ship 954 take care of and check the health of rescued crew members.
