At the end of the trading session in November 2025, the VN-Index increased by 6.67 points, equivalent to 0.40%, to 1,690.99 points - the highest level in nearly a month. The increase mainly appeared in the last 30 minutes of the session, after the index fell to the 1,680 point area due to strong selling pressure.
Despite the increase in the index, the overall market picture clearly shows a state of "green on the outside, red on the inside". On the HoSE floor, there were 185 stocks that decreased, overwhelming the 106 stocks that increased and 74 stocks that remained unchanged.
Liquidity decreased as cash flow showed signs of caution before the 1,700-point resistance zone - where VN-Index often faced strong profit-taking pressure in the past.
The factor that helped the index maintain its green color came from the group of large-cap stocks, especially VIC. Vingroup shares jumped 5%, contributing 10.74 points - nearly double the increase of VN-Index, becoming a prominent "bright spot" of the market. In addition, VPL and VNM also supported by contributing +2.22 and +0.94 points, respectively.
On the other hand, many blue chips put pressure on the market. VCB,FPT , GEE, BID and HPG pulled the index down by a total of more than 5.5 points. The market heat map was covered in red in financial, industrial and basic materials stocks, while real estate and consumer stocks recorded only a few bright spots.

The trading session at the end of the week, November 28, ended with mixed emotions when VN-Index maintained green but the general market was immersed in red.
In terms of liquidity, the entire HoSE only matched more than 617 million shares, worth about VND20,749 billion - a slight decrease compared to the previous session. Transactions focused mainly on large-cap stocks, while midcap and penny stocks were quite quiet. This shows that cash flow is prioritizing safety, waiting for clearer signals before the strong resistance zone.
Foreign investors returned to net buying more than 334 billion VND after the previous selling session. The focus of net buying was VNM (241 billion VND), VIC (128.7 billion) and VIX (more than 106 billion), along with VPB, PVD, CII, VPL, CTG, HAG... On the contrary, FPT and VCB were sold the most - 133 billion and 127 billion VND respectively; MSN, VJC,ACB groups also recorded net selling value of over 50 billion VND each.
In terms of sectors, real estate stocks stood out with a 2.33% increase, becoming the only group to maintain a clear green color thanks to many stocks recovering after a series of deep declines. Technology, financial and industrial stocks fell; while energy and consumer goods increased slightly but were not enough to pull the market.
Profit-taking sentiment increased as the VN-Index approached the 1,700-point threshold. Analysts said the market needed more time to accumulate before it could break out of this strong resistance zone.

Many stocks fell sharply in the session of November 28
The highlight of the November 28 session was VIC stock of Vingroup Corporation. This code recorded its 10th consecutive increase, climbing to a historical peak of VND260,400, the highest price ever. Since the beginning of 2025, VIC has increased nearly 6.5 times, becoming the stock with the strongest growth in the large-cap group.
VIC's meteoric rise has pushed Vingroup's capitalization past the 1 quadrillion VND mark, making the group the first private enterprise in Vietnam to reach this milestone. Vingroup's capitalization is now double that of Vietcombank - the second largest enterprise in the market - and equivalent to the total capitalization of the three "big guys" Vietcombank, BIDV and VietinBank combined.
At the same time, Vingroup Chairman Pham Nhat Vuong's assets also increased sharply along with stock prices. Real-time data from Forbes shows that Mr. Vuong's assets reached 23.3 billion USD, an increase of nearly 1 billion USD in just one day, putting him in the top 98 richest people in the world.
