The central report at the conference showed that: In 2025, the Party Committee and commanders of the Military Armaments Department led and directed agencies and units to comprehensively deploy and complete 100% of the set targets and tasks, with many tasks completed excellently.
Typical examples include: Actively advising and promptly proposing to the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , the Party Committee, and the Head of the General Department of Logistics and Technology many policies and measures on military technical work to meet the requirements of building the Army in the new situation. Ensuring weapons, ammunition and equipment for units performing training tasks, reserve combat readiness, and training new soldiers; participating in ensuring all types of weapons and equipment and ensuring technical support for the parade and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country, the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In addition, the Military Armament Department directs the Military Armament sector of all military units and grassroots units to perform well the content of Military Armament technical work; guides and directs units to manage well and strictly the quantity, quality, and technical status, to prevent fires, explosions, losses, and leakages of weapons, equipment, and ammunition; and to perform well the work of preservation, maintenance, and repair to ensure safety and quality.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Commander of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc acknowledged and commended the outstanding results in performing the tasks of the Armament Department in 2025; at the same time, he also seriously pointed out the remaining shortcomings that need to be learned from.

Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc requested that in the coming time, leaders and commanders of the Military Armament Department continue to focus on thoroughly grasping and performing well the following tasks: Thoroughly grasping and performing well the functions of research, consulting, and proposing to the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Party Committee, and the head of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering on military armament engineering work.
Focus on leading, directing research, forecasting, advising, proposing planning and developing technical equipment, manufacturing, repairing, and improving new and modern technical equipment and weapons to meet the requirements and tasks of building the Army in the new situation.

Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc noted that the Armament Department guides and directs units to manage well and closely the quantity, quality, technical status, synchronization and good implementation of technical assurance work for weapons, ammunition and equipment; apply new technology and new materials in technical assurance work; deploy training and drills on new weapons for newly added and exchanged units; regularly check and review to ensure safety, absolutely not allowing fires, explosions, losses and leakages to occur.
