In 2025, the Petroleum Department will closely follow the policies of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense , military and defense tasks, and commands for logistics and technical work, promptly advising leaders and commanders at all levels to comprehensively deploy all aspects of work.

In particular, the Department proactively advises and directs the full and timely assurance of fuel, technical equipment, and fuel supplies for regular and unexpected tasks of the entire army, focusing on ensuring that units perform training tasks, are ready to fight, protect sovereignty over seas, islands, borders, key areas, prevent, combat, and overcome the consequences of natural disasters... Timely guide and direct agencies and units to review and build a system of combat fuel documents, regularly, suitable for the new organization, staffing and two-level local government.

Major General Dinh Cong Phuong, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Engineering, delivered a speech at the conference.

The Petroleum Department has done a good job of researching, forecasting, assessing the situation, organizing the creation of sources for purchasing petroleum, technical equipment, and petroleum materials at the right time, saving the State budget; managing, using, and settling accounts strictly and in accordance with regulations. Directing and completing the construction of strategic, campaign, and tactical petroleum depot project items, increasing storage capacity; managing and maintaining the technical condition of the system of warehouses, tanks, technology, petroleum pipelines, equipment, specialized vehicles and machinery; ensuring absolute safety of warehouses and petroleum stations in the entire army.

Along with that, the Petroleum Department has thoroughly implemented the superiors' documents on military work, training, building discipline, and discipline management; effectively implemented the "Three Breakthroughs"; strictly followed the new organizational and staffing schedule; successfully organized party congresses at all levels in the Party Committee; internal solidarity and unity; the lives of cadres, employees, and soldiers have been improved; agencies and units are safe in all aspects.

To successfully complete the 2026 mission, Major General Dinh Cong Phuong requested the Petroleum Department to continue to advise and direct the implementation of ensuring sufficient and timely petroleum for the tasks of the entire army; strictly maintain petroleum, technical equipment, petroleum supplies in combat readiness and national reserves in national defense according to regulations.
