Diversify forms of propaganda

In recent times, trade unions at all levels have stepped up propaganda to workers, civil servants and laborers about the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; implemented the Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Unions, the 11th Congress of Provincial Trade Unions and trade union congresses at all levels in conjunction with Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo on innovation of trade union organization and activities in the new situation.

Propaganda work on the 2024 Trade Union Law, the 2024 Social Insurance Law, Labor Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month, etc. is carried out regularly and vividly.

In particular, activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) were deployed extensively and deeply in many forms such as conferences, billboards, leaflets, Party cell activities, Union activities and social networks.

The content focuses on introducing the glorious tradition of the Party, revolutionary achievements as well as the role of the working class in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, thereby raising political awareness and strengthening the confidence of Party members and workers.

In addition, trade union levels should strengthen information, orientation, and create consensus among union members and workers on the policy of reorganizing the apparatus and administrative units; clearly propagate the goals, requirements, and progress of amending the 2013 Constitution and related laws.

Accordingly, trade union levels organized 3,830 propaganda sessions, with 685,000 union members and workers being propagandized, disseminated, studied, and thoroughly understood the Party's policies and resolutions, and the State's policies and laws related to labor and trade unions.

Trade Unions at all levels also strengthen their grasp of the ideology, life and work of workers; proactively fight against and refute false information and fake news on social networks, contributing to orienting public opinion among union members and workers; actively deploy the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with the implementation of political tasks and the workers' movement; dissemination work is organized methodically, seriously, closely following the 2025 theme.

In addition, trade unions at all levels focused on propagating Party congresses at all levels, especially the 1st Congress of Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 - a political event of special importance after the province was merged and its organizational apparatus was consolidated.

In general, propaganda work has been increasingly innovated in a close, practical, grassroots direction, meeting the information needs of Party members and workers. In particular, the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/BCT on reorganizing and streamlining the apparatus has been thoroughly and widely disseminated, creating high unity among workers and employees in the whole province.

Providing legal knowledge and health care for workers

During this year's Labor Month, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Center for Disease Control to organize propaganda sessions on policies, laws and reproductive health care at 5 enterprises in the province.

At Sheen Bridge Company Limited (Can Giuoc commune), Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Pham Thi Quyen provided important information on labor contracts, contract termination, severance pay, unemployment benefits and policies related to female workers.

In particular, the right of employees not to be fired for reasons of marriage, pregnancy or raising children under 12 months old is emphasized, the right to be protected during pregnancy and maternity leave; the right to request businesses to ensure suitable bathrooms and toilets; and to consult female employees when issuing content related to them.

Workers and laborers read documents during a legal propaganda session organized by the Trade Union.

In addition to legal knowledge, female employees were also advised on issues of infection prevention, sexually transmitted diseases, the importance of reproductive health check-ups and regular gynecological check-ups. “As a woman, I am very concerned about reproductive health, especially when I am about to get married. Through the propaganda session, I understand better how to take care of myself and the importance of regular health check-ups” - Ms. Duong Thi Kim Ngan - employee of Sheen Bridge Company Limited, shared.

The knowledge provided helps workers, especially female workers, improve their self-protection and health care skills, thereby improving their quality of life and peace of mind at work.

With innovation in content and methods, the propaganda activities of the Provincial Federation of Labor and all levels of trade unions have made an important contribution to raising political and legal awareness and life skills for union members and workers. This is the foundation for building a strong team of workers, meeting the development requirements in the new period./.
