Notably, the incident happened in front of many other students, but no one intervened, leaving the victim to just sit there and "take it."

It is known that the incident happened at Hoang Dieu Secondary and High School, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi .

Immediately after the clips were posted on social media, many people expressed their outrage. Most opinions said that strict action was needed to prevent school violence from recurring.

On the evening of September 13, speaking to VietNamNet, a representative of Hoang Dieu Secondary and High School confirmed that the incident had occurred at the school. The students in the clip were 10th graders.

“The school has learned of the incident and is handling it. This is a matter that has caused us great concern. It was only because the students were playing around and did not understand each other that the incident was pushed too far.

The school has also organized a meeting for the two families of the students. Currently, the victim's health is normal, but to solve the problem at its root, we are temporarily suspending the male student who beat his friend so that he has more time to rethink his actions."

"I hope that this incident will be a wake-up call about the behavior of students towards each other in the school environment. If there is a problem that they do not understand, they should find a way to resolve it, find a common voice, and not use violent actions.

Students can share with homeroom teachers, class officers, parents... sit down together and find ways to understand each other better," said a school representative.

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training said that it had received the feedback and asked the school to report the incident.
