Discipline and solidarity create strength

After the merger, the border commune of Pa U ( Lai Chau ) increased in area and population, mainly La Hu, Thai, and Ha Nhi ethnic groups. According to comrade Tran Viet Anh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Pa U commune, all solutions originate from the team of cadres and civil servants. The most important thing is to realize the motto: solidarity, democracy, discipline, creativity, and development.

The commune Party Committee currently has nearly 400 party members, operating in 26 party cells. After July 1, 2025, the Party Committee has agreed to arrange and reasonably assign the old district-level cadres along with local cadres, based on the expertise and strengths of each person. The Party Committee has promoted responsibility and discipline, focusing on solving complicated issues of land management, public assets and cadre arrangement after the merger.

Dong Thai Commune (Ninh Binh) merged from 3 communes: Yen Dong, Yen Thanh and Yen Thai, with an average annual economic growth rate of 7%; total production value by the end of the term exceeded 2,100 billion VND, average income reached 71.1 million VND/person/year. All 3 old communes have met the advanced new rural standards; 19 villages and hamlets have met the model new rural standards.

According to comrade Nguyen Tien Viet, Secretary of the Dong Thai Commune Party Committee, the local practice of building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas shows that discipline is an internal strength that spreads from the system to social life. The Party Committee has organized to strengthen regular and unscheduled inspections and supervisions, promptly correcting manifestations of lax management or lack of responsibility in performing public duties.

The Party Committee of Hua Bum commune (Lai Chau) determined that political mettle must be tempered through example and considered this a key solution.

Hua Bum Commune Party Committee Secretary Phan Van Coc shared that, in order to best ensure the leadership role and comprehensive orientation, the Party Committee has issued working regulations, assigned specific responsibilities, and evaluated the effectiveness of each Party Committee member in grasping the unit, locality, and solving issues related to people's lives. Along with strengthening direct dialogue activities between the heads of Party Committees and authorities with the people, the Party Committee focuses on perfecting and improving the quality of activities of grassroots Party cells in the direction of focusing on specific issues close to people's lives.

Each party member must truly be a role model for labor production, building new rural areas and maintaining security and order. The image of cadres "crossing mountains and streams" to propagate and support people in economic methods is not only personal devotion, but also demonstrates the policy of changing working style so that the Party Committee and government can truly be closer to the people.

Many party members have shown their core role, such as comrade Po Lo Hu, Party Cell Secretary of Pha Bu village, Pa U commune, who boldly invested in growing cinnamon, medicinal plants and raising cows on a large scale, earning 400 to 500 million VND/year, then transferring techniques to the people, thereby changing awareness, creating trust, making people gradually reduce their mentality of waiting and relying, proactively expanding production.

Take work efficiency and people's benefits as a measure

The ultimate goal of all creation and innovation is the result of implementing the Party Committee's policies in life, reflected in the quality of life and satisfaction of the people. The solution identified by the Dong Thai Commune Party Committee (Ninh Binh) is to first innovate the leadership method, focus on the people, and link the people's interests with the common goal.

According to Dong Thai Commune Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Tien Viet, the key factor in creating trust is to well implement the democratic regulations at the grassroots level, be close to the people, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people to promptly resolve arising problems. The Party Committee focuses on innovating leadership methods to ensure that power truly belongs to the people, thoroughly implementing "People know, people discuss, people do, people check, people supervise, people benefit".

Similarly, in Bum To commune (Lai Chau), the key solution strengthened by the Party Committee is to periodically work with the Party Committees of villages and hamlets to promptly grasp the operational situation, remove difficulties and obstacles, and create consensus in implementing tasks.

Or in Khanh Hoi commune (Ninh Binh), the Party Committee Standing Committee maintains meetings and exchanges between the commune-level Party Committee Secretary, the Commune People's Committee Chairman and all Party cell secretaries and village heads. Comrade Pham Ngoc Hai, Khanh Hoi Commune Party Committee Secretary, said that listening and promptly responding to people's opinions and complaints is the most direct test of the quality of grassroots Party Committee activities.

Every political determination must be realized with concrete socio-economic results, and the Party Committee's policies must be measured and counted by the practical benefits of the people.

To make a breakthrough, the Party Committee determined that it must be the core to direct the concentration of resources and encourage new economic models. In Khanh Hoi commune (Ninh Binh), promoting the effective role of mass organizations in building new rural areas, with strong mass mobilization models such as "Tree and flower roads" of the Women's Union (18.5km long) and the project "Lighting up the countryside roads" of the Youth Union, etc. are vivid and intuitive results, close to the people.

In addition, the Party development work at Khanh Hoi through the results of admitting Party members who are religious, bringing the total number of Party members who are religious in the entire Party organization to 57 comrades, clearly demonstrates the solidarity and unity between the Party and all classes of people, contributing to consolidating the strength of the great national solidarity bloc.
