Improve skills in creating multimedia works on electronic newspapers

On August 19 and 20, the Center for Journalism Training (Vietnam Journalists Association) in coordination with the Vietnam Journalists Association of An Giang province organized a training course to improve skills in creating multimedia works on electronic newspapers.

Journalist Nguyen Thanh Tung shares his experience and skills in creating multimedia works on electronic newspapers.

The training course was attended by 25 members, editors, reporters, and press agencies in the two provinces of An Giang and Ca Mau. The trainees were shared knowledge, experience, and basic filming and photography skills by journalist Nguyen Thanh Tung, Head of the Communications Department of the Lao Dong Newspaper, and part-time lecturer at the Center for Journalism Training of the Vietnam Journalists Association .

Members, editors, and reporters are also guided on how to create headlines and cover letters; use photos, graphics, audio, video clips, and interactive maps; optimize for search; integrate multiple platforms… for multimedia works; and principles and steps to create multimedia works in modern journalism.

The organizers of the training course and leaders of the Vietnam Journalists Association of An Giang province took souvenir photos with the trainees.

The training course aims to help members, editors, and reporters of press agencies improve their professional qualifications, expertise, and working skills, and create multimedia works on electronic newspapers.
