Improving the capacity of communal police in the new period

From July 28 to August 15, 2025, Lam Dong Provincial Police deployed an intensive training plan for the commune-level police force to improve leadership and professional capacity and meet work requirements after the merger of administrative units.

Colonel Nguyen Tuong Vu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, delivered a speech giving directives.

The training course took place in the context of the entire commune-level police force in the province having just undergone organizational mergers from July 1, 2025, leading to many changes in tasks and operating methods. The program content was designed to be practical, focusing on skills in understanding the local area, handling crime reports and denunciations, crime prevention, cybersecurity, national security, administrative management, fire prevention and rescue, and personnel policy.

The training program was conducted rigorously at three main locations: the Training and Professional Development Center in Lang Biang ward - Da Lat, Nam Gia Nghia ward, and Phu Thuy ward. Participants included leaders, commanders, officers, and soldiers of the commune-level police, police stations, and special zone police forces.
