Improving the capacity of communal police in the new period

From July 28 to August 15, 2025, Lam Dong Provincial Police deployed an intensive training plan for commune-level police forces to improve leadership and professional capacity and meet work requirements after the merger of administrative units.

Colonel Nguyen Tuong Vu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, gave a directive speech.

The training took place in the context that the entire commune-level police force in the province had just undergone an organizational merger from July 1, 2025, leading to many changes in tasks and methods of operation. The program content was built close to reality, focusing on skills of grasping the area, handling crime reports, crime prevention, cyber security, national security, administrative management, fire prevention and rescue, and personnel policy work.

The training program was organized seriously at 3 main locations: Training and Professional Development Center in Lang Biang Ward - Da Lat, Nam Gia Nghia Ward and Phu Thuy Ward. Participants included leaders, officers, soldiers of the Commune Police, Police Stations and special zones.

This is a necessary standardization step to ensure that the commune-level police force operates effectively and uniformly, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety at the grassroots level.
