This includes focusing on high-quality tourism , nature conservation (forests and marine), and promoting historical values.
Therefore, the "For a Green, Clean, and Beautiful Con Dao" program is a concrete action to protect the marine environment in the Con Dao Special Economic Zone.

Through this program, the Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee called for the joint efforts of the entire society, starting with practical and concrete actions to build the Con Dao Special Economic Zone into a "green, clean, and plastic-free island," a shining example in the work of protecting the marine and island environment.

Ho Chi Minh City leaders hope that every citizen, official, soldier, and tourist will join hands to keep the environment of the Con Dao Special Economic Zone clean, beautiful, and healthy; continue nature conservation activities, minimize plastic waste, maintain green spaces, protect forests, and safeguard wildlife.
The "For a Green, Clean, and Beautiful Con Dao" program includes many meaningful and practical activities that continue the work of protecting nature and the environment. At the same time, it celebrates the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union, term 2025-2030.

The program includes two meaningful activities: a solidarity walk to promote the message "Preserving the greenery, for a green, clean, and beautiful Con Dao"; and planting trees and launching the "Great Unity Green Tree Line".
During the program, Ho Chi Minh City leaders also presented 100 gifts (2 million VND each) to people in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Ho Chi Minh City donated hundreds of trees to the Con Dao Special Zone to implement the "Great Unity Greenery Route" project. Afterwards, Ho Chi Minh City leaders and a delegation of female officials from Ho Chi Minh City, along with officers and soldiers, participated in a walking program to promote "For a Green, Clean, and Beautiful Con Dao."
