During the four-day April 30th holiday, many tourists chose coastal areas such as Phan Thiet, Mui Ne, La Gi, and the Phu Quy special economic zone (formerly Binh Thuan, now part of Lam Dong) for their vacation and relaxation.

According to Tuoi Tre Online , most coastal accommodations in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, La Gi, and the Phu Quy special economic zone are fully booked.

Similarly, tickets for the five high-speed ferries that transport passengers between Phu Quy Island and the mainland were sold out more than a month before the holiday.

Every afternoon during holidays, public beaches such as Doi Duong - Thuong Chanh, Da Ong Dia, Hon Rom, Mui Ne, Ham Tien… are packed with tourists.

In the late afternoon and evening, Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Huynh Thuc Khang streets – the "backbone" of the Mui Ne National Tourist Area – are always congested. The majority of visitors come from Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai , and the Mekong Delta.

Mr. Mai Thanh Tuan from Ho Chi Minh City shared that this is a long holiday period, so his family is taking advantage of the opportunity to rent a beachfront villa for a family vacation and reunion. According to Mr. Tuan, among tourist destinations, the Phan Thiet - Mui Ne coastal area is still the most convenient, as returning to Ho Chi Minh City is quicker if needed.

Further explaining why tourists choose Phan Thiet - Mui Ne beaches, Mr. Tran Van Binh - Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Tourism Association - said that currently, travel from the center of Ho Chi Minh City to the Binh Thuan region is more convenient than to other tourist destinations thanks to the eastern expressway.

"The journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet takes only about 2.5 to 3 hours, which is the most convenient option for tourists," Mr. Binh shared.

Thanks to convenient roads, tourists have many options for their vacation time in Phan Thiet - Mui Ne. Mr. Binh said that domestic tourists mainly stay for about two nights before returning. Therefore, when one group of tourists leaves, another will come, so they don't all flock to the busiest days.

Not only is the timing convenient, but Phan Thiet - Mui Ne beach is currently in its ideal season, with cool breezes and beautiful sunshine, making it perfect for tourists to enjoy themselves.

Similarly, the Phu Quy Special Economic Zone is currently experiencing its most beautiful season of the year. It is estimated that over 12,500 tourists will visit Phu Quy during this holiday period. The entire special economic zone has 69 hotels and guesthouses with 850 rooms and over 100 homestays. For the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and April 30th holidays this year, all rooms on the island were fully booked.
