National Commercial Bank (NCB) has just announced the appointment of Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Duong as Deputy General Director and Director of Human Resources Management .
Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Duong, born in 1977, holds a Master's degree in Economic and International Law from Hanoi Law University. She has nearly 20 years of experience in human resource management, holding several key positions at large enterprises and reputable banks.
In her role as Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways, Ms. Duong has made positive contributions to the development of human resources, focusing resources on improving service quality to meet the high demands of customers.
Ms. Vo Thi Thuy Duong joined NCB Bank at a time when the bank is implementing transformation steps according to its new strategy for the period 2024-2028 and its vision to 2032, aiming for healthy, safe, and transparent development. Accordingly, human resource development and organizational restructuring are considered key factors.
According to information on the NCB website, the bank's executive board currently consists of two members: General Director Ta Kieu Hung and Deputy General Director and Director of Risk Management Pham Thi Hien. Thus, after the appointment of Ms. Duong, the total number of executive board members is three.

In a related development, at the extraordinary general meeting in November 2023, NCB shareholders approved the dismissal of Vice Chairman Nguyen Tien Dung and Board Member Truong Le Hien, after both submitted their resignations due to health and personal reasons.
Simultaneously, two new members were elected: Mr. Duong The Bang and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Hoa. Mr. Duong The Bang holds a Bachelor's degree from the Moscow University of Communications and Informatics in the Russian Federation. He has over 20 years of experience working and managing large-scale enterprises in various fields as a member of the Board of Directors and CEO.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Hoa holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Foreign Trade University. She previously worked at the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) and held several important positions in finance and credit at major domestic enterprises .
