It is known that the IMF and the World Bank have recently raised their forecasts for the Russian economy. In fact, despite sanctions from Western countries, thanks to strong international trade, industrial production and energy exports, Russia's economic performance has not been negatively affected by Western predictions.
According to economic data released in 2022, Russia's gross domestic product reached $2.24 trillion, making it the eighth largest economy in the world. By purchasing power parity, Russia has firmly secured its place as the world's fifth largest economy.
