This year's Apple Watch Series 10 will be thinner and have a larger screen size than its predecessors. According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman's Power On report, Apple is preparing for major changes to the Apple Watch lineup this year.
Gurman also revealed that two Apple Watch Series 10 models, dubbed N217 and N218, will have larger displays, with one of the two models having a display nearly as large as the one on the Apple Watch Ultra.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said in a report posted on Medium that the next-generation Apple Watch screen will increase from 41mm to 45mm and from 45mm to 49mm. At the same time, this year's smartwatch model will also be designed to be thinner, creating a more elegant appearance.
In addition to the improved display design, the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 will feature more powerful processors than their predecessors. While this could lay the groundwork for some future AI improvements, Gurman said Apple currently has “no plans” to bring the full range of Apple Intelligence features to the Apple Watch.
Despite the notable improvements, Apple has had some hiccups in its plans for new health features. Previously, reports revealed that the Apple Watch Series 10 would add blood pressure and sleep apnea monitoring.
However, according to Bloomberg, although Apple has made progress on the feature since 2023, it has since “encountered some serious glitches.” The blood pressure measurement technology on the Apple Watch “hasn’t been as reliable as expected during testing,” which could force Apple to delay the feature’s release until 2025.
