Which bank pays the highest savings interest rate of 7%?

VietA Bank has just adjusted down 0.1 - 0.3 percentage points on deposit interest rates for terms from 6 - 36 months.

Accordingly, the interest rate for 6-7 month terms decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 6.8%/year. The interest rate for 8-11 month terms decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 6.9%/year. The interest rate for 12-36 month terms returned to the same level of 7%/year.

However, VietA Bank may apply different interest rates to some customers and not exceed the maximum interest rate prescribed by the State Bank for each period.

BacA Bank has also just announced a 0.25 percentage point reduction in interest rates for deposits with terms of 6-36 months. This is the second time this month that the bank has reduced interest rates. Specifically, the 6-8 month term is 6.75%/year; the 9-11 month term is 6.8%/year; the 12 month term is 6.85%/year. The 13-36 month term has an interest rate of 6.95%/year.

Similarly, Sacombank reduced interest rates for the second time, with a wide reduction from 1-month terms and above. For accounts opened online, the interest rate for 1-month terms is 3.9%/year, 4%/year for 2-month terms, 4.1%/year for 3-month terms and 4.2%/year for 4-5-month terms.

Interest rates for 6-month deposits decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 5.9% per year. 7-month deposits decreased by 0.25 percentage points to 5.95% per year. 8-month deposits decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 6% per year, 9-month deposits decreased by 0.35 percentage points to 6.05% per year. 10-month and 11-month deposits decreased by 6.1% and 6.15% per year, respectively.

Meanwhile, interest rates for 12- and 13-month terms decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 6.3% per year, 15-month terms to 6.35% per year, 18-month terms to 6.4% per year and 24-26-month terms to 6.5% per year.

Techcombank has reduced its deposit interest rates for the third consecutive time since the beginning of the month. Accordingly, the deposit interest rate for 1-2 month terms has decreased slightly by 0.1 percentage point to 3.85%/year, while the 3-5 month term remains at 3.95%/year.

For terms of 6 months or more, Techcombank still applies the progressive calculation method according to the customer's deposit amount.

For newly opened accounts under 1 billion VND, the interest rate for 6-8 month terms is 5.85%/year; 9-11 month terms is reduced by 0.15 percentage points to 5.9%/year; 12-36 month terms is reduced by 0.1 percentage points to 5.95%/year.

From 1 billion VND to under 3 billion VND and from 3 billion VND or more, the interest rate for 6-36 month terms will be increased by 0.1 and 0.2 percentage points respectively compared to the above interest rate.

According to statistics from the beginning of August until now, banks that have reduced deposit interest rates include: TPBank, ACB, Eximbank, Techcombank, NCB, VietBank, ABBank, OceanBank, HDBank, Sacombank, VIB, VPBank, MSB, BacA Bank, Saigonbank, CBBank, VietA Bank,SHB , OCB, BaoViet Bank, BVBank, GPBank, MB, SeABank, VietA Bank.

Of which, NCB, VIB, BacA Bank, Sacombank reduced interest rates twice since the beginning of August.

Techcombank and VietBank have reduced interest rates three times since the beginning of the month, while ACB and Eximbank have reduced interest rates four times.
