Liquidity and investor sentiment are stable, VN-Index increased to more than 1,716 points

The trading session on October 9 saw green spread across the stock market, especially large-cap stocks, helping the VN-Index increase by 18.64 points (+1.1%) to 1,716.47 points. Short-term technical indicators began to show signs of recovery, opening up the possibility of the index testing higher resistance levels in the coming sessions.

Market liquidity decreased slightly compared to yesterday's session, with total trading volume on the three floors reaching more than 1,217 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND36,757 billion.

After yesterday's net buying reversal session, foreign investors continued to net sell on all 3 floors for more than 1,774 billion VND, focusing on codes HPG (216.14 billion VND), SSI (187.94 billion VND), VRE (157.29 billion VND), VCI (145.43 billion VND), VIX (134.99 billion VND)...

On the contrary, the stocks with the most net purchases in this session included TCB (147.9 billion VND), VIC (115.61 billion VND), BSR (109.37 billion VND), LPB (78.15 billion VND), GEX (70.66 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the matched order value this session increased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 31,801 billion VND.

The VN30 Index increased by 17.94 points (+0.93%) and stopped at 1,940.89 points. Liquidity reached more than 605.07 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 21,137.87 billion.
