State Bank of Vietnam donates 8 billion VND to build houses for the poor in Quang Tri province

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27 (1947 - 2024), today July 21, Member of the Party Central Committee, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong and members of the working delegation visited and presented funds to support Quang Tri province in building houses for the poor. Welcoming the delegation were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung; Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam.

At the funding handover ceremony, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong expressed her emotion at coming to Quang Tri and organizing gratitude activities on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

According to Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong, in recent times, the banking sector has always paid special attention to gratitude activities. These activities have received high unity and consensus among each officer, civil servant, public employee, and employee of the State Bank of Vietnam and units in the system.

With the funding to support Quang Tri province in building houses for the poor, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong hopes that this gift will soon be meaningful, helping Quang Tri province do better in the work of gratitude, repayment, and sustainable poverty reduction.

Delighted to welcome the delegation of the State Bank of Vietnam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung said that despite many difficulties and challenges, in recent times, Quang Tri province has always focused on doing a good job of gratitude, repaying debts, and sustainably reducing poverty. During this process of great efforts, Quang Tri province has received great attention from the leaders of the Party, the State, central ministries and branches, including the State Bank of Vietnam and units in the system.

Expressing deep gratitude to Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong and members of the working delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung affirmed that Quang Tri province will use the allocated funds for the right purpose and effectively, promptly supporting people in difficult circumstances, especially policy families.
