Pedagogy major with the highest floor score at Dalat University

The education sector has the highest admission threshold score compared to other sectors at Dalat University.

On July 22, Da Lat University ( Lam Dong province) officially announced the minimum score for admission to full-time university in 2025 with 3 admission methods including: high school graduation exam scores, considering academic records and results of the competency assessment exam.

Accordingly, the education sector continues to lead with the highest floor score.

Majors such as mathematics pedagogy, literature pedagogy, English pedagogy and primary education have a minimum admission score based on high school graduation exam results of 21 points.

If considered by academic records, candidates need to achieve 24 points or more, while the competency assessment score organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University requires a minimum of 800 points.

Meanwhile, the engineering and technology group has a common floor score of 16-17 points, with the majors of information technology, telecommunications engineering, environmental engineering, business administration, and accounting fluctuating at 17 points (high school exam) or 650 points (capacity assessment).

In particular, Dalat University also expands opportunities for candidates with average academic ability in some majors with lower minimum scores. Majors such as food technology, agronomy, post-harvest technology, social work, literature, history, sociology, English language... have a minimum score of 16-16.5 points according to the high school exam results, or from 600-625 points in the competency assessment exam.

The school notes that the above floor score is the total score of the three subjects in the admission group, without multiplying the coefficient and including priority points according to regulations.

In addition, candidates applying for pedagogical majors must ensure that their 12th grade academic performance is excellent or their high school graduation score is 8.0 or higher. For English pedagogy and English language majors, the English subject must have a score of 5 or higher.

Candidates will register and adjust their wishes online on the Ministry of Education and Training 's system from July 16 to before 5:00 p.m. on July 28.
