In recent years, the education sector of Da Lat City has paid great attention to STEM education activities in the area. STEM education activities organized in each class have helped students gain knowledge and skills as a prerequisite for participating in STEM activities at a higher level, which are experiential activities and scientific research activities.

This year, the 3rd STEM Festival has the theme AI & STEM – Creative launch pad, connecting the future. In the program, 50 primary and secondary schools participated in the competition of creative STEM products researched and manufactured by students, with IoT and AI applications in the making and use.

At the same time, students and teachers had interesting experiences through the Workshop on Applying Artificial Intelligence in Learning and Applying AI in Designing Interactive Educational Activities.

According to Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hien - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Da Lat City, in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution, applying AI to teaching and learning activities is becoming a key factor, helping students not only master knowledge but also develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a flexible and creative way.

The STEM Festival held annually is not only a playground for students to exchange and learn, but also a forum for teachers and experts to share experiences and exchange innovative ideas, thereby promoting Da Lat education to rise strongly in the digital age.

At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 70 prizes for the competition contents in the primary and secondary school categories, including: STEM educational videos, creative STEM products, and ROBOTICS competition. Of which, there were 6 first prizes, 11 second prizes, 17 third prizes, and 35 consolation prizes.
