On July 9, Social Insurance Region XIII organized a festival to promote, consult and answer questions about social insurance and health insurance policies.

The highlight of the festival was the discussion with the theme "Health insurance - Sharing with the community, protecting the health of all people". Ms. Nguyen Thi Trung Chinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Hai Phong City and Mr. Vu Duc Khien, Deputy Director of Social Insurance Region XIII analyzed and answered new policies of the Law on Social Insurance and the amended Law on Health Insurance. On this occasion, Social Insurance Region XIII presented health insurance cards to 15 people in difficult circumstances in the city.

On the same day, local Social Insurance also simultaneously organized various forms of propaganda such as conferences, consulting booths, seminars, etc. at the grassroots level to widely spread social insurance and health insurance policies to all classes of people.

Up to now, in Hai Phong city, there have been more than 1 million people participating in social insurance, reaching over 54% of the working-age workforce. 100,775 people participated in voluntary social insurance, an increase of more than 15,000 people compared to the same period last year.

The number of people participating in health insurance reached over 3.7 million, an increase of more than 58,000 people compared to the same period. In 2024, the Health Insurance Fund paid thousands of billions of VND for over 5 million people who received health insurance medical examination and treatment, including many cases that received billions of VND.
