On the morning of February 12th, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts, in collaboration with Thai Binh University, organized the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day. Attendees included Mr. Pham Dong Thuy, Standing Committee Member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and Mr. Pham Van Nghiem, Provincial Party Committee Member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

In 2003, with the approval of the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Writers Association designated the 15th day of the first lunar month as Vietnam Poetry Day. Since then, Vietnam Poetry Day has been a celebration honoring poetic achievements and contributing to the preservation and promotion of the nation's poetic values in social life.

In 2025, Vietnam Poetry Day will have the theme "The Homeland Soars High," a celebration of heightened emotions to honor the values of poetry. Here, poets, teachers, students, and poetry lovers will meet and connect in a creative space. This will contribute to encouraging and motivating poets, writers, and artists to actively create and engage in artistic work, fostering and nurturing a love for poetry and life, and practically contributing to building a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized homeland.

At the program, People's Artist Ánh Điện and artist Văn Tuấn performed Lý Thường Kiệt's "Nam Quốc Sơn Hà" and President Ho Chi Minh 's "Nguyên Tiêu". Poets from the Literature Branch of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts presented their outstanding works, while also sharing insights about their works and the inspiration behind their poetry.

The Chairman of the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts presented books and newspapers to the library of Thai Binh University.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association of Literature and Arts is organizing an exhibition of outstanding paintings and photographs by members of the Fine Arts and Photography Branch.
