Nghe An won 1 Gold Medal and 2 Silver Medals at the Mobile Propaganda Contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory

The mobile propaganda contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) with the theme "Returning to Dien Bien", was organized nationwide, taking place from March 26 to April 2 in 32 districts, towns and townships in 9 provinces and cities: Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai , Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Son La and Dien Bien.

The competition was attended by 37 mobile propaganda teams from provinces and cities across the country. The Mass Art Troupe of Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center performed 6 shows at the following locations: Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province (on the opening night), Dong Anh District, Hoa Binh City, Hoa Binh Province; Yen Chau District, Son La Province, Tuan Giao District, Dien Bien Province and Regiment 82, Dien Bien Province.

At the end of the competition, the Nghe An Province Mass Art Troupe won 1 Gold Medal with the performance “Vang mai ban anh ca Dien Bien” (Singing and dancing of Nghe Tinh folk songs); 2 Silver Medals with the performances: “Ky uc Dien Bien” (dance), “Ho keo phao, Giai phong Dien Bien” (Mashup of singing and dancing).

Mr. Cao Van Xich - Director of Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center said: "With the performances participating in this contest, the Center plans to use them for performances in mobile propaganda campaigns serving the grassroots in Nghe An province on the occasion of the upcoming 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory".
