Gia Lai: Support 53 tons of goods and cash with a total value of 2.4 billion for people in flood-affected areas

From October 15 to October 19, the branches of the Gia Lai Province Association for the Support of Poor Patients coordinated with other associations and charitable organizations to organize relief trips for people severely affected by storms and floods in many provinces.

Specifically, the branches: Tinh Duc Phu My, Tam Phat Quy Nhon, Tuong Chao Dau Hu 3 Phu Cat coordinated with the Charity Association Anh Sang Tu Tam Chua My Hoa and Thien Tam Sai Gon; brought 30 tons of food, necessities and cash with a total value of more than 1.4 billion VND; gave 1,740 gifts, supported many completely collapsed houses, contributing to helping people in Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Bac Ninh , and Thai Nguyen provinces soon stabilize their lives.

At the same time, the Hoai An Association for Supporting Poor Patients and the SOS 77 Association also organized activities to support people in the North with 23 tons of goods and necessities with a total value of more than 1 billion VND.

The above activities demonstrate the spirit of "mutual love and sharing" of associations, volunteer groups and Gia Lai people, joining hands to help people overcome difficulties and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.
