Hue City delegation presented 1 billion VND to support people of Bac Ninh province

At the support handover ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Hue City, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van expressed her deep sympathy for the difficulties and losses of the people of Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen provinces in particular and the northern region in general due to the impact of storm No. 11; emphasizing that Hue City is always ready to join hands and contribute to the people of the whole country to overcome natural disasters and stabilize their lives.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity and mutual love, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City called on and mobilized all classes of people, organizations and individuals in the area to join hands to support people in the flood-hit areas. In that spirit, the delegation presented 2 billion VND in direct support to the people of Thai Nguyen and Bac Ninh provinces (1 billion VND each). At the same time, through the City Relief Fund, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City also transferred 2 billion VND in support to Cao Bang and Lang Son provinces (1 billion VND each) to contribute to overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and soon stabilizing life and production.

Giving gifts to support kindergartens in Thai Nguyen province

The leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the Northern provinces sincerely thank the sentiments and timely and practical sharing from the people of Hue City. These are meaningful gifts, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, affection, and helping each other of the people of Hue City towards the people of the North who are facing difficulties. The localities are committed to using the support resources for the right purposes, right subjects, openly, transparently and effectively.

During the working trip, the delegation also visited, encouraged and presented money and gifts to affected households in Phuc Hoa commune, Bac Ninh province; presented money and gifts to a kindergarten in Thai Nguyen - which was heavily damaged by floods to quickly overcome the damage, stabilize the facilities to help students go to school soon.

In addition, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City and the City's Women Entrepreneurs Association also presented gifts to people of units that suffered heavy damage in Van Lang Commune, Na Ri Commune, Phan Dinh Phung Ward, Thai Nguyen Province.
