Vietnam Rubber Youth contributes to building VRG for sustainable development in the new period

Affirming the pioneering, united and creative role

After nearly half a century of construction and growth, with the attention, support and favorable conditions of the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Group's Board of Directors and the Government Youth Union Standing Committee, VRG Youth Union has affirmed its pioneering, proactive, innovative and creative role, excellently completing its tasks, contributing to the sustainable development of the Group.

In the 2022-2025 term, the revolutionary action movement of the group's youth has spread widely with hundreds of typical youth projects and works, many initiatives, technical innovations, and technology applications, contributing to improving productivity, product quality and production efficiency. The models "Advanced youth following Uncle Ho's words", "One good news every day - one beautiful story every week", "Youth with digital transformation", "Youth initiatives in the rubber industry" have become bright spots recognized and commended by the Central Youth Union and the Central Business Bloc Youth Union.

Along with creative work, VRG youth also left a strong impression through thousands of volunteer and social security activities with a total budget of more than 4.1 billion VND: building charity houses, "Lighting up the countryside roads", taking care of heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy families, supporting disadvantaged young workers, and thousands of donated blood units.
These practical actions not only demonstrate the spirit of "For the community - For the workers", but also spread the profound humanistic values of the youth of the Vietnamese rubber industry at home and abroad.

International exchange and volunteer programs in Laos and Cambodia have contributed to strengthening the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia, enhancing the image of dynamic, responsible and integrated VRG youth.

During the 2022-2025 period, the VRG Youth Union has carried out 437 youth projects and tasks; 11 youth creative initiatives and topics; 14 environmental protection and climate change prevention activities; supported nearly 2,000 youth union members and workers along with hundreds of policy families and children in difficult circumstances. In particular, 214 outstanding union members were introduced to the Party, of which 98 outstanding union members were honored to join the Party - affirming that the Youth Union is a reliable source of young and successor cadres for the group.

With these results, the Group's Youth Union was honored to receive the emulation flag of the Central Youth Union, many collectives and individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union and for many consecutive years were recognized as "Excellent Unit in Youth Union work and youth movement".

Aspiration, innovation, integration

Mr. Tran Cong Kha, Member of the Government Party Executive Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VRG, commented: During the 2022-2025 term, the Youth Union work and youth movement of the Youth Union of the Group have had many innovations, increasingly going into depth and closely linked with the political tasks and production and business of the Group. The Group's youth have demonstrated their pioneering, creative and socially responsible role, from the production labor emulation movement, practical youth projects, to volunteer activities for the community, for workers in remote areas, border areas, Laos and Cambodia.

“In the 2025-2030 term, I hope that the Youth Union of the Group will continue to be a pioneer in digital transformation, application of science and technology, promoting green growth and sustainable development, contributing to improving the competitiveness and efficiency of production and business of the Group. Each member and youth should always keep the flame of enthusiasm and creative spirit, strive to study, practice, work with industrial style, discipline and responsibility, to be worthy of being the Party's trusted successor, a source of high-quality young human resources for the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group in the new development stage" - Mr. Tran Cong Kha advised.

The 9th Congress of the VRG Youth Union for the 2025-2030 term is an important milestone, affirming the aspirations of the youth of the entire group. Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong, Member of the Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the VRG Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation VRG, said: “In the 2025-2030 term, the Youth Union of the group will focus on three major directions: First, continue to educate and nurture a generation of union members with courage and aspiration to contribute. Accompanying the youth in studying, training and improving their spiritual life. Focusing on the work of discovering, nurturing and introducing outstanding union members to the Party, creating a source of young, dedicated, high-quality, and industrial-style cadres for the rubber industry.

Second, promoting the pioneering role of youth in digital transformation, applying science and technology and promoting green growth; contributing to improving productivity, product quality and production and business efficiency.

Third, promote volunteer activities, social security and international integration, especially in remote areas, border areas, Laos and Cambodia, making practical contributions to the sustainable development of the group. With the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity, each member is a flame of enthusiasm, joining together with youth and intelligence to create breakthroughs, leaving many marks in the new term.

In the new journey, the Vietnamese rubber youth will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, initiative, volunteerism, creativity, and responsibility to the community; always practice bravery, industrial style, corporate culture, and international integration capacity, so that each union member and youth is worthy of being the successor to the glorious tradition of previous generations, contributing to affirming the position, prestige, and brand of the Vietnamese rubber industry in the international arena.
