Check the health of young people in the age group

In order to make the preliminary selection work effective, in recent times, the Ward Military Service Council has advised the Party Committee and the Ward People's Committee to seriously implement the guidance documents of the superiors; at the same time, mobilized the participation of departments and organizations in propaganda work, mobilizing young people of military age to fully participate in accordance with regulations.

During the preliminary examination, the young people are given a general health check-up including measuring physical strength, height, weight, eyesight, blood pressure, etc. The examination is organized seriously, ensuring correct procedures, objectivity and fairness.

Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, said that the Ward Military Service Council will organize strict examinations in accordance with regulations, in order to select young people who meet the standards of health, political qualities, ethics, and meet the requirements of serving in the Army and the People's Police.

According to the plan, in 2026, Phong Phu ward was assigned the target of recruiting 25 young men to join the military service and 9 young men to join the People's Public Security service.
