The 1st Congress of the Trade Union of Quoc Oai and Kieu Phu communes:

On the afternoon of October 20, the Quoc Oai Commune Trade Union held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Attending the congress were 126 delegates representing more than 2,000 union members of 64 affiliated grassroots unions.

In his opening speech, Chairman of the Quoc Oai Commune Trade Union Nguyen Xuan Tuyen affirmed: The Congress is an important occasion to evaluate the results of activities in the past time, determine the direction, targets and tasks for the 2025-2030 term; at the same time, demonstrate the determination to build a strong trade union organization, better care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, contributing to the comprehensive and sustainable development of Quoc Oai commune.

The Quoc Oai Commune Union was established on the basis of merging unions of 3 communes: Quoc Oai, Hung Dao, Duong Hoa, representing more than 2,000 union members. Immediately after its establishment, the provisional Executive Committee of 9 comrades quickly stabilized the organization, built operating regulations, promoted propaganda, gathered union members, and put union activities into order.

Grassroots trade unions have effectively implemented many emulation movements, such as: "Good worker, creative worker", "Good at public work, good at housework", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", while paying practical attention to union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The congress focused on discussing solutions to improve the effectiveness of representation, care, and protection of the legitimate and legal rights of union members, innovate union operation methods in the context of digital transformation, and contribute to building a civilized and modern Quoc Oai commune.

The Congress approved 9 specific targets and 3 breakthroughs for the 2025-2030 term, including striving to establish trade unions in 80% of units with 25 or more employees; 85% of enterprises with trade unions signing collective labor agreements; 100% of trade union officials receiving professional training and skills; and each year having at least 1 typical project or work in Workers' Month.

Speaking at the Congress, Vice President of the Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy praised the efforts of the Quoc Oai Commune Trade Union, which quickly stabilized the organization and effectively implemented activities in a short time; at the same time, she requested the Commune Trade Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, promote the role of a bridge between workers and Party committees and authorities, and better care for workers' lives.

The Congress announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of the Quoc Oai Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030, and comrade Nguyen Xuan Tuyen was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Quoc Oai Commune Trade Union.

Previously, Kieu Phu Commune Trade Union held the first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 100 official delegates representing 2,569 union members in the area. The Congress determined that in the 2025-2030 term, Kieu Phu Commune Trade Union will implement 9 targets, 3 breakthroughs and 6 groups of tasks and main solutions, aiming to build a strong trade union organization, promote the representative and pioneering role in the patriotic emulation movement, contributing to building a civilized and prosperous Kieu Phu commune.

At the Congress, the Organizing Committee announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of Kieu Phu Commune Trade Union, term I, 2025-2030, consisting of 9 comrades, and comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune Trade Union.
