Hanoi: Establishment of Steering Committee on developing centralized camera surveillance system

On October 20, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh signed Decision No. 5243/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Steering Committee for the development of a centralized camera surveillance system in Hanoi.

The Steering Committee on the development of a centralized camera surveillance system in Hanoi city, consists of 6 members; Comrade Truong Viet Dung, City Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee is the Head of the Steering Committee.

The Steering Committee is responsible for advising the City People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee to uniformly and synchronously direct the implementation of policies, strategies, mechanisms, policies and solutions on planning work, coordinate and review, advise on important technical options; propose to the City People's Committee and the Chairman of the City People's Committee directions, tasks, solutions, mechanisms, policies and uniformly and synchronously direct the implementation of planning, investment and management, and development of the surveillance camera system in the city.

Along with that, the Steering Committee coordinates activities between departments, branches, commune-level People's Committees and related units, ensuring close coordination and avoiding overlap in the process of developing the camera surveillance system...

Steering Committee members work according to the Regulations on organization and operation of the Steering Committee.

The Hanoi City Police acts as the standing agency of the Steering Committee, assisting the Head of the Supervisory Committee in supervising and urging members to carry out assigned tasks. Departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for reporting fully and promptly the situation and results of the implementation of assigned tasks on the development of the Centralized Camera Surveillance System in Hanoi to the Hanoi City Police for synthesis.

This Decision comes into force from the date of signing.
