At the meeting, Mr. Tran Nam Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, requested communes and wards to proactively deploy disaster prevention plans according to the "4 on-site" motto, focusing on arranging vehicles, forces on duty and regulating traffic at high-risk flood areas. The education sector needs to closely monitor the situation and proactively let students take time off from school when necessary.

For urban areas, the Department of Construction will review and mark flooded areas for monitoring and handling; step up propaganda so that people can proactively relocate their assets, and at the same time encourage people to remove objects covering manholes to increase drainage capacity.
